Why us

We Actually Play

Every review comes after hours with the game, not a trailer and a press kit. If we didn't finish it, we tell you why.

No Paid Placements

Scores aren't for sale. Studios can't buy a spot in our catalogue or nudge a rating upward.

Emberfall Saga

★★★★★ 4.7

Emberfall Saga is the rare mobile RPG that respects your time and your intelligence. You lead a small band of misfits across a fading kingdom, and the writing carries real weight — companions remember what you said three chapters ago and call you out on it. I found myself caring about these people more than in games ten times the size.

  • Writing that actually makes you care
  • Tactical grid combat that suits touch controls
  • Gorgeous hand-drawn presentation

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick games we're genuinely curious about, across every genre, and we play them properly before writing. There's no schedule dictated by studios — if something grabs us, it gets covered. Titles that bore us in the first hour usually get a quick honest note rather than a full review.

Do studios pay you for reviews?

No. We don't accept payment to feature a game or to raise a score, and that's not going to change. When we do get a free copy to save on cost, it never affects what we write. For example, our Big Bass Bonanza review came from our own playtime, same as everything else here.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, we love tips. Drop us a line through the contact page with the name and where to find it. We can't promise to cover everything, but we read every suggestion and check out the ones that sound interesting.

Is there advertising on the site?

We may run some basic, non-intrusive ads to help cover hosting, but they're kept separate from our editorial. An ad never buys a good review or a spot in our catalogue. If that ever changes, we'll say so plainly on this page.
