About
Pocket Pixel started as a group chat where three of us kept swapping screenshots of odd little games nobody else was talking about. At some point the list got too long to keep in messages, so we built this place. It's still small, still run by people who play on their commute and after the kids are asleep.,We only write about games we've actually finished or put serious time into. That usually means a week per title, sometimes more if it's a slow-burn strategy game. If something bores us after twenty minutes, we say so honestly instead of padding a review to hit a word count.,Genres don't matter much to us. We'll cover a fishing game one day and a turn-based tactics thing the next, as long as it does something interesting or just feels great to hold. The one rule: it has to work well on a touchscreen. A great idea ruined by clumsy controls doesn't make the cut.,Nobody pays us to feature a game, and we don't take copies in exchange for a positive score. What you read here is what we thought after playing. If that ever changes, we'll tell you on this page first.
